Women

Women account for 24.7% of new HIV diagnoses in Ontario. Many resources are available to support cis, racialized, queer and trans women who are at-risk or living with HIV.

African, Caribbean and Black

African, Caribbean and Black (ACB) communities are disproportionately affected by HIV. They represent 37.8% of first-time diagnoses in Ontario. Culturally responsive programs offer prevention, testing and treatment support.

Indigenous

Indigenous Peoples in Ontario experience HIV infection rates 1.7 times higher than the general population. Indigenous-led resources provide support culturally safe prevention and treatment support.
